INGREDIENTS & EQUIPMENT
3 lbs apples
3 lbs pears
3 tbsp lemon juice
3 cinnamon sticks
Dutch Oven or oven-safe pot
PREHEAT oven to 350℉.
PEEL, CUT and core all the apples and pears and place in the dutch oven.
PLACE the rest of the ingredients in the dutch oven.
COVER and bake for 1.5 hours.
REMOVE peel and cinnamon sticks before mashing the apples and pears.
SERVE and enjoy!
LEFTOVERS: Store any leftovers in an airtight container for at most 2 weeks in the fridge and 2 months in the freezer.
TIPS: You can cook this on LOW for 5-6 hours in a slow cooker until apples and pears are super soft.
