PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY STUFFED FRENCH TOAST

Peanut butter and jelly stuffed french toast? GAME CHANGER! Regardless what type of bread and jelly you choose to use, this recipe is very adaptable to your cravings. Take your traditional french toast to a whole new level and leave your mouth watering.

INGREDIENTS & EQUIPMENT

¼ cup peanut butter
½ cup milk
3 eggs
¼ tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp cinnamon
4 slices brioche bread
extra peanut butter, to spread
jelly of choice, to spread
powdered sugar, to serve
maple syrup, to serve

Medium mixing bowl
Measuring cups & spoons
Spatula
Whisk or fork
Butter knife & spoon
Chopping board
Tongs
Pan

METHOD

ADD peanut butter, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl
WHISK
together until combined and set aside
SPREAD
extra peanut butter and jelly on the slices of brioche bread
CLOSE
together the sandwiches
HEAT
a pan over medium heat
DUNK
each sandwich into the egg mixture soaking both sides until mixture is absorbed
COOK
sandwiches in the pan on both sides until golden, about 3 to 4 minutes per side
SERVE
with powdered sugar and maple syrup

NOTES

OVER ACHIEVERS: You can make the batter up to 2 days in advance and store in the fridge.

LEFTOVERS: Store any leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge. It's best to pour the maple syrup as you eat to keep any uneaten toast from being too soft.
