SWEET POTATO SMOOTHIE

This sweet potato smoothie is a quick and creative way to use up your leftover baked sweet potatoes. It tastes like the holidays and satisfies your sweet cravings, for sure. 

 

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup sweet potato

  • 1 cup milk

  • 3 medjool dates

  • ½ inch knob of ginger

  • ¼ tsp turmeric

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

  • ice

COMPONENTS

METHOD

BLEND the ingredients into a smooth mixture. ​

ADD in a heaping cup of ice cubes and blend until they are totally broken down.

SERVE 

NOTES

STORAGE: Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days in the fridge.

Additions: You can add hemp seeds for protein, or even add protein powder.
