INGREDIENTS

2 ¼ cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

¾ cup brown sugar

1 vanilla extract

2 eggs, room temperature

3 bars of Hu® Kitchen Chocolate, your choice

EQUIPMENT

small mixing bowl

large mixing bowl

measuring cups & spoons

electric hand mixer or stand mixer

sharp knife to cut the chocolate bars

cutting board

spatula or wooden spoon

2 baking trays

parchment paper

METHOD

PREHEAT oven to 375F

COMBINE flour, baking soda, and salt in small mixing bowl and set aside

BEAT butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy

ADD eggs and beat well together

ADD flour mixture until combined

CHOP up chocolate bars and stir into the dough mixture

ROLL 2-3 tbsp (depending on how large you like your cookies) of dough at a time into balls and place them evenly spaced on your prepared cookie sheets (alternately, use a small cookie scoop to make your cookies)

BAKE for 9 to 12 minutes or until golden brown
