PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY STUFFED FRENCH TOAST

INGREDIENTS

¼ cup peanut butter
½ cup milk
3 eggs
¼ tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp cinnamon
4 slices brioche bread
extra peanut butter, to spread
jelly of choice, to spread
powdered sugar, to serve
maple syrup, to serve

EQUIPMENT

Medium mixing bowl
Measuring cups & spoons
Spatula
Whisk or fork
Butter knife & spoon
Chopping board
Tongs
Pan

METHOD

ADD peanut butter, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl
WHISK together until combined and set aside
SPREAD extra peanut butter and jelly on the slices of brioche bread
CLOSE together the sandwiches
HEAT a pan over medium heat
DUNK each sandwich into the egg mixture soaking both sides until mixture is absorbed
COOK sandwiches in the pan on both sides until golden, about 3 to 4 minutes per side
SERVE with powdered sugar and maple syrup
